18 U.S.C. § 2257 Statement

This page explains how Adult Chat Net (www.adultchat.net) relates to the record-keeping requirements of 18 U.S.C. § 2257, 18 U.S.C. § 2257A and 28 C.F.R. Part 75.

We do not produce content

Adult Chat Net is a live chat service. Every message, picture, voice call and webcam stream you see in our rooms is created and sent by our users, in real time, between each other. Adult Chat Net does not film, photograph, record, script, commission or pay for any of it, and does not choose the people who appear in it.

A service that only transmits, stores, hosts or formats material supplied by its users is not a "producer" under 28 C.F.R. § 75.1(c)(4). Adult Chat Net is therefore not required to keep § 2257 records for user content, and holds no such records. Any visual content on this website either contains no sexually explicit conduct, or was not produced by Adult Chat Net or by anyone acting for us.

Users are responsible for what they share

Each user is solely responsible for the content they send through the chat. Sharing, requesting or accepting sexual material involving anyone under the age of 18 is strictly forbidden. Accounts involved are permanently banned, and we report such activity to law enforcement.

Adults only

All of our chat rooms, including private messages, are for people aged 18 and over. Anyone who says they are under 18, or who we have reason to believe is under 18, is removed. The full rules are in our Terms of Use and Chat Rules.

Third-party content

Some pages show advertising, embedded video chat or links provided by other companies. Adult Chat Net does not produce or control that content. Each of those companies is responsible for its own compliance with § 2257 and § 2257A, including keeping its own records, and questions about their content should be sent to them.
